Each worker clocks in, out and breaks from their phone. The record can't be changed, exports to PDF and is kept for the 4 years the law requires. And each person's profile shows their hours for the month and their holidays.
Workers open the app on their phone and clock in. They see how many hours they've worked today. Location is saved only at the moment of clocking in, in line with the law and GDPR, and it can be turned off. If someone forgets, the manual entry is logged in the audit trail.

The working-hours record the law requires you to keep
Since 2019, every business in Spain has had to record its workers' daily hours. Royal Decree-law 8/2019, which amends Article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute, requires a reliable time record with each employee's start and finish times, kept for four years and available to the Labour Inspectorate.
For a gardening or landscaping company, with crews moving between different properties and gardens, meeting this requirement on paper or in Excel is a mess. Natura Viva turns clocking in into a one-second tap on the phone, for you and for every gardener on your team.
Clock in, clock out and breaks with one tap.

Time tracking for crews working across several properties
Gardening doesn't happen in an office. Your crews start in one garden, move on to another and sometimes switch property mid-morning. Natura Viva's time tracking is built for exactly that: each worker clocks in from their own phone, wherever they are, with no time clock on the wall and no need for you to be there.
Since everything syncs instantly, you see from your phone who's clocked in, at what time and from where, without calls or WhatsApp messages asking "have you started yet?".
Clock-in and time tracking in Mallorca and the Balearics
Natura Viva is made in Mallorca by someone who works in gardening, so it understands how a gardening company in the Balearic Islands works: high season in summer, properties scattered across the island and crews that change with the workload.
If you’re looking for a time tracking app for gardening companies in Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza or Formentera that meets Spain’s working-hours recording rules without the hassle, this tool is built for you.
Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Is recording working hours mandatory?
Yes, in Spain it has been mandatory for all staff since Royal Decree-law 8/2019 (article 34.9 of the Workers’ Statute).
Can a clock-in be edited?
Time records can't be edited or deleted; any corrections are logged in the audit trail.
Can my workers see their hours and holidays?
Yes. Everyone sees their clock-ins, hours and holidays on their phone. Only the admin can change them.
Which plan is it in?
Time tracking comes with the Pro plan.
Does Natura Viva's time tracking comply with Spain's working-hours recording law?
Yes. It records each worker's start and finish times reliably and tamper-proof, and keeps the data for four years, as required by Spain's Royal Decree-law 8/2019 amending Article 34.9 of the Workers' Statute. You can also export the record as a PDF if the Labour Inspectorate asks for it.
Does each employee clock in from their own phone?
Yes. Every gardener on your crew clocks in from their phone, with their location captured at clock-in. No time clock needed, and you don't have to be there.
Can I export time tracking as a PDF?
Yes, you can generate a PDF of the working-hours record to show Spain's Labour Inspectorate or keep for your own files.
Is it suitable for small gardening businesses and the self-employed?
Yes. It works just as well for a self-employed gardener with a couple of helpers as for a company with several crews across different properties. It's in the Pro plan.
