Verifactu: your invoices, ready for 2027.
Under Spain's Verifactu e-invoicing law, the tax authority will require every invoice to carry a QR code and its record to be sent straight from the invoicing software. We're getting Natura Viva ready so you can keep invoicing just as you always have.
What Verifactu is, explained simply.
Verifactu is the Spanish Tax Agency's system to make sure invoices can't be tampered with. Every invoice you issue creates a record with a digital fingerprint chained to the previous one, carries a QR code so your client can check it, and that record is sent to the Spanish Tax Agency.
- QR code on every invoice
- Record with a fingerprint chained to the previous invoice
- Records sent to the Spanish Tax Agency
What changes in your day-to-day.
Almost nothing, if your software does it for you. Issued invoices can't be deleted or edited: if there's a mistake, they're voided or corrected, and it's all on record.
- Invoices can't be deleted or changed
- Mistakes are fixed with a cancellation or corrective invoice
- Your client can check the invoice with the QR code

Here's how we'll do it for you.
You’ll keep invoicing from each property’s work, just like now. The app will add the QR code and fingerprint to every invoice and send the record to the Spanish Tax Agency right from the app, with no extra software or extra steps.

Frequently asked questions.
What is Verifactu?
It's the Spanish Tax Agency's system (Verifactu) requiring invoicing software to create a tamper-proof record of every invoice, with a QR code on the invoice and the record sent to the tax authority.
When is it mandatory?
By 1 January 2027 for companies and by 1 July 2027 for self-employed workers and everyone else, under Spain's Royal Decree-law 15/2025.
Is Natura Viva already Verifactu-compliant?
We're getting it ready so it's in place before it becomes mandatory. Once it's live, you'll see it in the app and here.
Will I have to change the way I invoice?
No. You’ll keep invoicing from each property’s work. The app will take care of the QR code, the digital fingerprint and sending the record.
What if I make a mistake on an invoice?
Under Spain's Verifactu law, issued invoices can't be deleted: they're voided or replaced with a corrective invoice, and it's all on record.
And all this, in the same app.
They’re not separate programs: they live together and talk to each other.
